Our client is a Global Software company based in Germany. The position is for a for Software Application Technical Support Services and Pre-Sales

In this role you will work within demanding customer projects in the field of Product Compliance (Environmental) and Sustainability Management software technology.

A Technical Support Specialist with Pre-Sales affinity uses technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.

The position will be located onsite in a major customer's office in Tokyo.
A portion of the work is expected to be a Work From Home situation supporting other customers in the region.

Self managing autonomous applicants are highly preferred.



Broad knowledge of and experience or familiarity in the following areas:

  • Application webservers (Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss),
  • Operating systems (Windows/Linux, etc., XML, Javascript, HTML, CSS),
  • Development of Java, databases (Oracle)
  • Ability to work autonomously, team player mentality
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address enquiries in a timely manner
  • 5 -10 years of working experience
  • Technical and commercial affinity
  • Software Development with Java, PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with and understanding of basic software applications
